MTA DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES FOR STATION
ACCESSIBILITY UPGRADE (PACKAGE 3)

The MTA Design-Build Services for Station Accessibility Upgrade Project (Package 3) is geared towards ensuring ADA compliance is met at 13 subway stations. Eight stations will undergo new accessibility installations, while the remaining five stations will have their existing elevators replaced with new ones. The project will introduce 34 new and replacement elevators designed for heavy-duty transit purposes, capable of 24-hour continuous operation. These elevators will also come with substantial maintenance and lifecycle enhancements.
In a closely coordinated effort with Halmar International, Forte assumes the role of the lead constructor responsible for the renovation of five stations across Manhattan and Brooklyn. This undertaking includes relocating existing utilities, extensive structural and architectural modifications, upgrades to electrical power systems, enhancements to station communications infrastructure, and the renovation and repair of platforms to ensure they are ADA-compliant.
