NYCT 5 STATION RENEWAL ON MYRTLE AVENUE LINE

The NYCT renewal of 5 stations on Myrtle Avenue included the rehabilitation of five elevated train stations. The scope included architectural and structural improvements at all platform and mezzanine areas, as well as plumbing, HVAC and electrical upgrades, 2 control house buildings were completely removed and reconstructed (each approx. 3000 square-foot) over an active roadway, all stairs were replaced, new lighting was installed and structural concrete and steel were brought to a state of good repair. The project was completed ahead of schedule.
