The MTA Design-Build Services for 68th Street - Hunter College Station include the installation of three new elevators, new stairwells, utility upgrades and other critical ADA improvements.

  • Scope of Work:

    • Installation of three new elevators at the existing mezzanine 

    • Construction of new entrances at the mid-block entrance (Imperial House Building) and on the southwest corner of 69th Street 

    • Construct new stairwells and reconfigure existing stairwells 

    • Create a new entrance at the 68th Street-Hunter College Station on the Lexington Avenue Line  

    • Utility upgrades and relocation, mezzanine extension, and mechanical and electrical upgrades
