The LIRR rehabilitation of Nostrand Avenue station included the removal and replacement of existing station platforms, above duct supporting structure, railings and canopy roofing system and removal and replacement of four existing stairs and overpasses, construction of two new elevators and modification of existing concrete sidewalks as necessary for installation of new platform stairs and elevators.
