MTA Design Build Services for 37 Elevator Replacements in NYC

Scope of Work
- Design and construction of the replacement of 37 elevators at 17 stations
- Design and construction of structural elements to support the new ADA elevators and associated equipment
- Removal of all existing equipment within each elevator machine room (EMR) (one EMR per elevator) and replacement with new equipment, modifications to the elevator hoistways and performance of all work necessary to ensure that the new elevators meet current ADA requirements, and provide an ADA-compliant path of travel to each elevator
- State-of-good repair work
- Upgraded communication systems: CCTV cameras, fire alarms, telephones, intercoms, and provided new two-way emergency visual communications devices within the elevator cabs.
- Replace three existing elevators at the Atlantic Avenue Station - Barclay Center – Fourth Ave Line
- Replace two existing elevators at the Atlantic Ave Station - Barclay Center - Eastern Parkway Line
- Replace two existing elevators at the Atlantic Ave Station - Barclay Center - Brighton Line
- Replace one existing elevator at the Church Avenue Station
