The replacement of the elevators at the Franklin Avenue station on the C/S Line in Brooklyn are complete! The elevators were opened to commuters on May 14th. The work began in July 2020 and was completed on time. Our hard-working team did a great job!
In addition to the replacement of four hydraulic elevators at the Borough Hall and Franklin Avenue Shuttle Stations, the rehabilitation project included the restoration of finishes around the elevator entrances at the street and mezzanine levels, significant mechanical and electrical upgrades, and comprehensive improvements to the communications and fiber optic systems.
