We’re excited to share that Elevators 304 and 305 are officially in service at Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn—bringing enhanced accessibility to riders across the B, Q, 2, 3, 4, 5, D, N, R lines, and the LIRR.
At one of Brooklyn’s key multi-line stations, strong communication between the Forte-Gramercy JV, the Lead Designer, Stantec, and the PMC Group, Naik-STV JV, kept the project moving.
With these two new elevators, the team has now placed 15 elevators into service under our 37 Elevators contract—a major accomplishment for this project. In the upcoming Phase 3, work will include the replacement of Elevators 306 and 307 at this station.
In addition to the elevator installations, the team completed key station improvements such as tile replacement, platform regrading, and communication upgrades, further enhancing the rider experience.
Overall, Atlantic Ave Phase 2 stands as a testament to teamwork, adaptability, and the commitment of all teams involved in delivering another successful accomplishment for this project.
