EL 382 and EL 383 are now in service at Prospect Park Station on the B, Q and Franklin Avenue Shuttle (S) lines, marking the 30th and 31st elevators commissioned under the 37 Elevators Project. EL 382 connects the mezzanine and northbound platform, while EL 383 connects the mezzanine and southbound platform.

The Forte–Gramercy Joint Venture, alongside the MTA, Lead Designer Stantec, and the Naik–STV JV PMC team, delivered the two modernized elevators along with upgrades to the surrounding elevator structures and equipment.

As part of the work, the original glass block elevator enclosures were replaced with clear laminated safety glazing, giving the structures an updated appearance. A temporary platform and scaffold system above the platform canopy provided access to complete glazing and painting around the exterior of the elevator structures.

The project team worked collaboratively to maximize the existing Elevator Machine Room (EMR) space and efficiently integrate the modernized equipment and systems. With Prospect Park Station located directly adjacent to residential buildings, the team also coordinated much of the work during daytime hours, maintaining progress while remaining mindful of the surrounding community.
