EL 431, EL 432 and EL 433 are now in service at Jamaica–179 St Station, marking the 27th, 28th and 29th elevators commissioned under the 37 Elevators Project.

Delivered by the Forte–Gramercy Joint Venture alongside the MTA, Lead Designer Stantec, and the Naik–STV JV PMC team, the three modernized elevators serve riders on the F line. EL 431 connects street level and the mezzanine, while EL 432 and EL 433 provide connections between the mezzanine and the station’s platforms.

In addition to the elevator replacements, work included concrete sidewalk replacement at street level, wall and floor tile replacements, Elevator Machine Room equipment upgrades, and a distinctive curved glass canopy at the street-level enclosure.

Close coordination throughout construction supported the successful completion of work at Jamaica–179 St, marking another significant accomplishment for the 37 Elevators Project.
