Last week we had a Topping Off Celebration to congratulate the team on completing the structural steelwork for the new FIT academic building. The crew signed the final beam and enjoyed some delicious food from Gary’s Steaks. Many thanks for a job well done!
This multi-million dollar project will transform the college’s identity at West 28th Street. The new 10-story LEED building extends off the existing Feldman Building and includes smart classrooms, studios, student assembly spaces, and administrative offices. The exterior of the building will feature a multi-dimensional unitized curtain wall system.
